Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Selection will be based on a Walk-In Interview held on 14 October 2026.
  • Shortlisted candidates will proceed to document verification during the interview.
  • No TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing for the interview.
  • Recruitment procedures follow the Guidelines of Central Silk Board for hiring of Research Fellow (JRF/SRF/RA) under CSB-coded R&D projects.

  • The decision of the Director, CSB-CSGRC Hosur, will be final and binding in all respects.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Proof of date of birth (Matriculation certificate or equivalent).
  • Community / Caste certificate in prescribed format (SC/ST/OBC), if applicable.
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer, if applicable.
  • Certificates and documents related to research experience, trainings, and publications, if any.
  • Two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the above documents must be carried along with originals.
