  • The position is part of the externally funded project "Auditing of Biomining Operations for Remediation of Dumpsite in Tripura – (CNP-3032)" led by Dr. Sunil Kumar, Project Leader (Scientist-F), CIECE.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Project Assistant-II (1.2 PA-II): B.Sc. in Environmental Science from a recognized university/institute.
  • Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years, to be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications / walk-in date.
  • Experience: No prior work experience is explicitly required for this post, though the project involves auditing and remediation fieldwork related to biomining and dumpsite operations.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection is based solely on a walk-in interview held at CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.
  • Candidates must report between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM; the gate will be closed by 11:00 AM.
  • Fulfilling the minimum qualification does not guarantee a call for interview. If a large number of candidates apply, a screening committee may shortlist candidates based on predefined criteria.
  • Selected candidates must sign an undertaking for maintaining confidentiality of project findings and intellectual property information.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Filled application form (downloaded from the official CSIR-NEERI advertisement) with passport-size photograph affixed and signed across.
  • Aadhaar Card (original + photocopy).
  • 10th (SSC) mark sheet and certificate.
  • 12th (HSC) mark sheet and certificate.
  • Graduate (B.Sc.) mark sheets and Degree certificate (all semesters).
  • Original documents along with one set of photocopies for document verification at the venue.
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
  • Two recent passport-size photographs and a valid Photo ID Proof.
  • Important Notes:
  • The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Engagement does not confer any right for regularization against any CSIR/CSIR-NEERI post.
  • The tenure of project staff served in CSIR contracts shall not exceed six or seven years as per applicable CSIR OM clauses.
  • Selected candidates must arrange their own accommodation; HRA is admissible as per applicable rules.
