Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognised university or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm). Registration under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist. Preference for experience with Public Sector Banks, PSUs or Government organisations.
• Age Limit: Not specified in the advertisement.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection will be carried out in the following stages:
• Shortlisting: Based on qualifications, registration status, and relevant experience. Candidates residing nearer to RBI dispensaries may be given preference.
• Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. No travel allowance (TA) or hazard allowance (HA) will be paid.
• Medical Examination & Document Verification: Selected candidates must undergo a medical check‑up and submit all original certificates for verification.
• Empanelment: Successful candidates will be placed on a panel and engaged as and when required for up to 240 days.
• Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or any other stage.

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications)
• Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable)
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)

• Send the envelope so that it reaches The Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Recruitment Section, Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai Regional Office, Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, Fort, Mumbai – 400001 by 5:00 PM on 3 November 2026.

What is the salary of an RBI Pharmacist?

• RBI pays ₹600 per hour (maximum ₹3,000 per day). No other allowances are provided.
