Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• The Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, has notified 2 Young Professional-II positions under the Collaborative Outstation Research Centre (CORC). One post is at Rakhra in Punjab and the other at Mandasaur in Madhya Pradesh.
• Note: No House Rent Allowance (HRA) or other allowances are payable. Income tax or any other tax is deducted as per prevailing rules.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process consists of two stages:
• Screening / Shortlisting: All received applications are screened and shortlisted based on qualifying academic performance as per the assessment criteria laid down by ICAR-IARI
• Panel Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a hybrid-mode panel interview. Candidates must indicate their preference (Offline or Online) at the top of the application form
• TA/DA for Interview: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview. However, domestic tour TA/DA limits apply for work-related travel: AC-2 Tier / AC Chair Car for YP-II and DA at Rs. 1,500 per day.
• Important Conditions:
• The position is purely temporary and does not constitute a regular government job offer
• A signed Declaration of Secrecy and Non-Disclosure Agreement is mandatory before joining
• Selected candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate from an MBBS doctor at their own cost
• Unauthorized absence of 8 continuous days leads to automatic termination
• Engagement of YP-II is regulated as per ICAR regulations/procedures from time to time

• If currently employed, obtain and attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current employer
• Email all scanned documents (Annexure-I, Bio-Data, photo, self-attested certificates, and Annexure-II) to the designated ICAR-IARI email address by 01 December 2026

5. What is the salary structure for ICAR-IARI YP-II?

• The consolidated monthly emolument is Rs. 42,000 (fixed). No House Rent Allowance (HRA) or other allowances are payable. Income tax is deducted as per prevailing rules. Leave entitlement includes 8 days casual leave and 2 restricted holidays per calendar year.
