Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Walk-In Interview / Written Test: The selection process begins with a combined Walk-In Interview and Written Test commencing at 10:00 AM on 18 November 2026 at CARI Bengaluru.
• Selection Committee Discretion: The Selection Committee reserves the right to select or reject any application without assigning reasons.
• Deployment Clause: Personnel selected through the interview may be deployed in other projects of the Institute as per requirement.
• No TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Duly filled application form (download from cari.gov.in or ccras.nic.in, or collect from CARI Bengaluru office on working days between 10 AM and 4 PM)
• Self-attested photocopies of certificates, mark cards, caste certificate, and experience certificates
• Original certificates for verification
• Two recent passport-size photographs
• Valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• The appointment is initially for six months, subject to curtailment or extension at the discretion of the competent authority
• The engagement is purely contractual and co-terminus with the Project/Programme; no claim for continuation of service or regular appointment will be entertained
• The Assistant Director In-charge, CARI Bengaluru, reserves the right to postpone or cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason

3. Is there an application fee for CARI Bengaluru SRF recruitment?

5. What is the salary for Senior Research Fellow posts at CARI Bengaluru?

• Both Senior Research Fellow (Ayurveda) and Senior Research Fellow (IT) posts carry a monthly remuneration of Rs. 42,000/- plus 30% House Rent Allowance (HRA). No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

6. What qualifications are required for CARI Bengaluru SRF posts?

• For SRF (Ayurveda): BAMS from a recognized University. For SRF (IT): BE/B.Tech/MCA from a recognized University, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology. Maximum age limit is 35 years as on the interview date.
