Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.V.Sc. from a VCI-recognized university/college/institute (for Sr. No. 2, Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Sciences from an ICAR-recognized institute).
  • Master's Degree in the relevant subject of Veterinary Sciences, Animal Sciences, or Agriculture Sciences recognized by VCI/ICAR.
  • Preference: Candidates possessing a Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject.
  • Job Location: Hisar, Haryana.
  • Employment Basis: Purely temporary, non-regular, non-tenurial, and time-bound; co-terminus with the Academic Year (July to June), i.e., June 2027, and shall not exceed one year.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Selection is based on academic qualifications, additional qualifications, a PowerPoint presentation, and an interview, distributed across a total of 100 marks:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Maximum 20 marks (on pro-rata system)
  • Master's Degree: Maximum 20 marks (on pro-rata system)
  • Doctoral Degree: Maximum 10 marks (on pro-rata system)
  • Additional Qualifications: Maximum 15 marks (awards and NAAS-rated publications as per notification)
  • Note: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the selection process.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Duly filled application form complete in all respects with self-attested photocopies.
  • Self-attested copies of essential academic qualifications, final mark sheets, and certificates indicating percentage of marks/OGPA.
  • Certificate showing Date of Birth.
  • Self-attested copy of relevant reservation category certificates (OSC, DSC, BC-A, BC-B, EWS, ESM, PWD).
  • Haryana Residence Certificate, where applicable.
  • List of University Level Academic Awards (Gold Medal, etc.) with self-attested proofs.
  • Documentary proof of NAAS-rated publications.
  • Experience certificates and other supporting testimonials.
  • Aadhar card copy.
  • Latest passport-size coloured photograph showing 80% face visible, duly signed by the candidate, pasted on the application form.
  • Mention on envelope: “Application for the position of Teaching Associate in the College of Veterinary Sciences vide Advt. No. LUVAS/COVS/TA/2026/01”.
  • Submit to: The Dean COVS, LUVAS, Hisar, Haryana-125004 by hand or post on or before 31.10.2026 up to 05:00 PM.
  • Separate application forms for each position if applying for multiple posts.
