1. Tell me about a time you had a conflict with a team member. How did you handle it?

   Use the STAR method. Briefly set the Situation and your Task, spend most of the time on the Actions you took to understand the other person and solve the problem, and end with a positive Result and what you learned. Pick a real, work-related disagreement, never blame the other person, and show that you stayed calm and focused on the goal.

2. How do you work with someone you don't get along with?

   Keep the relationship professional, focus on shared goals, communicate clearly and in writing where useful, and look for common ground. You do not need to be friends to work well together.

   Pick a real disagreement about work, show that you raised it respectfully with facts, listened to their view, and then went with the final decision, whatever it was. The way you disagreed matters more than who was right.
